The Customer Success Executive (CSE) role is a position that will execute on specific, defined objectives to exceed customer expectations and augment primary selling activities in the areas of account adoption, retention, and expansion. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and deepening relationships with operational partners, other internal FedEx teams. Provides customer contact in an assigned territory necessary to achieve retention, renewals and revenue expansion as measure by expanded use of the FedEx portfolio. The CSE role will conduct ongoing customer post-sale performance analysis and link appropriate resources to address evolving customer needs. The CSE role will support FedEx Enterprise customers, and be measured on customer growth, expansion and retention targets.

Accountabilities and Tasks:


  • Drive customer and revenue retention


  • Foster outstanding customer relationships by providing input to business reviews, project managing solutions, exhibiting outstanding communication skills, both oral and written


  • Leverage tools and dashboards to understand the customer's business and supply chain to analyze customer needs to engage internal partners to develop and implement solutions


  • Penetrate the customer's organization to develop an understanding of the customer's business and supply chain post sale needs to enhance customer experience


  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure the customer's needs are met while creating a fact base to Project Manage root cause activity


  • Monitors and takes appropriate action to drive customer expansion


  • Utilization of a CRM such as Salesforce.com


  • Contributes to customer adoption of the FedEx portfolio as well as tools and technologies


  • Demonstrate integrity, initiative, organization, discipline and adaptability while working in a dynamic selling environment



Domicile Locations - El Segundo or Southern California will be considered.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent or two (2) years of FedEx customer facing business experience or four (4) years of non-FedEx customer facing business experience. Ability to travel overnight as required.
