Job Summary: Responsible for developing and implementing complex, cross-functional and/or global communication programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and measure global PR strategies, initiatives and tactics related to Equinix's partner and product GTM. Drive day-to-day PR activities and measure results against goals for all campaigns and programs.




• Strategically evolve the Equinix partner PR program with innovative thinking that optimally advances corporate goals of increasing bookings via the channel




• Develop and refine narratives targeted to specific audiences, as well as the optimal channels to engage with those audiences




• Manage global partner and product announcements and the development of thought leadership around partner and product initiatives




• Manage global PR agency and align with regional PR agencies




• Close collaboration with regional comms teams as well as global functional comms teams (Social, Internal Comms, Exec Comms, Customer Comms, AR) to create synergy and drive maximum impact of results




• Understand the Equinix business inside and out, and build and maintain relationships with press, bloggers and community of influencers who follow our industry




• Creative and innovative thinker who is focused on finding a better way




• Serve as a trusted advisor on PR strategy to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Seasoned communications professional with a proven track record of managing high-impact, global public relations programs that deliver measurable results




• 10+ years PR experience with global B2B technology companies




• Experience in managing partner and product PR/comms campaigns




• Demonstrated experience in media relations, writing, project management, and strategic planning and execution




• Demonstrated results in driving strategic storytelling to external audiences and up leveling complex concepts to secure message delivery in targeted business and trade media




• Strong understanding of B2B and relevant industry topics (cloud, IoT, AI, CVST, payments, etc.)




• Top-notch communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills




• Self-directed strategic thinker capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and making an impact quickly




• Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment




• Detail-oriented with ability to handle various tasks simultaneously under multiple deadlines




• Experience managing PR agencies as well as working at a PR agency preferred




• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related area preferred
