Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager works at the Global Innovation and Development center in Hudson Wisconsin, an organization with over 150 individuals committed to the conceptualization, development and clinical manufacturing of combination products, diagnostic devices, and medical devices. You will be responsible for growing the size and technical capability of the Manufacturing Engineering team which is part of the Manufacturing Development group, working closely with other engineering managers including Mechanical Design, Human Centered Design, Electronics and Software, Project, Validation and Quality organizations. The focus of the manufacturing engineering group is the development of manual and semi-automated assembly processes of various medical devices and drug delivery systems through clinical builds. Final steps would be participation in design transfer activities to a commercial site.
