About the Role:

Contributes to the overall Market Access brand strategies and executes operating plans for assigned area. Responsible for developing branded and unbranded materials and messages, to be delivered by and to support respective team. Materials may include program development for use in LTC, Hospital Systems, provider-lead systems and other entities focused on population health. May also be responsible for development of pull through programs for payer coverage and materials to support the Patient Access team.

Your Contributions (include, but not limited to):


  • Develops branded and unbranded promotional messages, tools, and programs focused on Key Account customers and/or payer promotions


  • May design and develop pull through programs for payer coverage


  • Serves as the primary interface with Market Access agency


  • Develops and manages annual project and budget plan


  • Provides respective field team support and training -- National Account Management (NAM) or Key Account Managers (KAM). Serves as the internal advocate for field leadership and the NAM/KAM field team. Develops and executes Plan of Action (POA) materials


  • Coordinates with HEOR (Health Economics, Outcomes Research) to develop value story and messaging along with, FDAMA114 tools and disease state burden of disease messaging


  • Works with Executive Director, Regional Patient Access Team to development supporting materials for use in institutional setting


  • Responsible for facilitating Medical, Legal, Regulatory compliance review of promotional materials


  • Develops and leads projects in alignment with company goals and objectives


  • Works cross-functionally with Sales, Brand Marketing, Payer Marketing, Medical, National Accounts, Market Research and other members of the organization to ensure seamless alignment


  • Works closely with NAM/KAM sales director to set strategy, and execution plan


  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:


  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business or related field. and 12+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing experience with a focus on sales results in pharmaceutical marketing and key account sales, including 2+ years payer access and/or key account/market access/managed markets marketing experience. Strong training and education experience required. Pharmaceutical sales (1-2 years), Specialty product, Psychiatry/ Neurology therapeutic area, and/or Veeva Vault experience preferred. OR


  • Must be an effective team member and collaborator as success relies heavily on interfaces with Finance, P&L understanding, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Medical and Brand Teams at senior levels


  • Superior understanding of managed market customers

  • Ability to manage and track a budget to achieve organizational goals


  • Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements
