Prudential is seeking a Compliance Systems Analyst to support the global Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Economic Sanctions Program and the global compliance data management processes that support those systems.  

As a Systems Analyst in Prudential’s Compliance Global Technology team, you will apply your analytical, data, and technical skills to support the full life cycle of data acquisition, integration, and ongoing operations in support of the Global Financial Crimes Business Unit. 

Role & Responsibilities:

Work with Compliance system vendors and Compliance business operations stakeholders to understand the ongoing Compliance Systems data management needs, concerns/gaps, and work with Global Technology groups, and Business Unit Source system technology teams to address business needs.

Position responsibilities may include but are not limited to:


  • Document and maintain Compliance Systems Data Requirements, Systems Catalog, and data integration ETL/API specifications

  • Establish data profiling and quality rules and partner with technical SMEs to automate those data rules using Python and other enterprise ETL tools.

  • Conduct source system data profiling, results analysis, and documentation of the data remediation plan

  • Conduct source-to-target technical data mapping for ETL and Data integration specifications

  • Build and maintain global data intake/ onboarding and change pipelines for Data Integration and data operations journeys in JIRA

  • Collaborate closely with Compliance Operations, Compliance technology vendors and other Global Technology teams to support the implementation of Data Integration and Data operations pipelines for the Financial Crimes portfolio.

  • Support Data onboarding, data integration testing and ETL deployments using both manual and automated processes

  • Support Data migrations as part of Prudential Compliance Technology transformation.

  • Review, analyze and report on data processing/governance related issues and trends to Compliance LCBE Technology leadership on an ongoing basis.   Partner with the appropriate technology teams and/or global stakeholders to address those findings in a timely manner

  • Execute all work using the Agile methodology, while leveraging enterprise level ETL, API, Analytics and CI/CD tools

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology field, or the equivalent

  • At least 5 years of Data operations and systems analyst experience in financial services industry or a major consulting firm servicing the financial services industry

  • At least 2 years’ experience with Compliance technology.  Prior experience with financial crimes applications highly preferred.   

  • Expertise in Data analysis, creating and maintaining detailed data flows and diagrams, data relationships & dependencies, and the creation of data mapping and ETL specification documents

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python

  • Experience with data profiling, statistical analysis, and data quality improvements methods and tools.

  • Possess an ownership and solutions driven mindset with strong problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills including team collaboration and ability to work independently 

  • Experience with and the ability to execute all work using Agile development and delivery methodologies, preferred/a plus

  • Experience with Informatica or similar on-prime or on Cloud ETL and Data governance tools, preferred/ a plus

  • Experience with any data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc., preferred/ a plus

  • Prior experience working with Actimize, Oracle, Accuity or similar Financial Crimes AML/Sanctions vendor solutions is highly desirable
