Graphics and Marketing Specialist at Quality Carriers, Inc. in Tampa, Florida

Job Description:

Quality Carriers is a global transportation logistics and Services Company.  We employ over 2,000 people nationwide and have over 200 people in our Tampa based corporate office located in the Channelside District. 


 Quality is a core carrier for many of the Fortune 500 companies engaged in chemical processing and we provide services to many of the top 100 chemical producers in the world with US operations. 


The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and coordinating graphic advertising, promotional assets for marketing campaigns and social media content with a consistent brand voice across multiple channels. Tasks include external materials to target, attract and recruit potential drivers by generating leads and applications while internal communications will maintain a cohesive approach to driver retention, touchpoints and referral programs.



Responsibilities:


 



  • Coordinates and executes marketing and social media calendar.

  • Manages the employer brand and reputation, building awareness, generating leads and engaging followers.

  • Handles digital content creation and maintenance, including emails, blog posts, chat box campaigns, self-service landing pages and news releases.

  • Creates graphics and materials for contests, promotional items, career site design and marketing programs.

  • Exhibits high degree of creativity and skills in using images, text, videos and chat to attract and engage the audience.

  • Assists in executing and monitoring social media, content marketing campaigns and PR efforts.

  • Reviews and analyzes email and social media metric tools (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter).

  • Regularly compiles and provides weekly reports for management on the performance of marketing campaigns.

  • Researches digital and traditional marketing trends, creating campaigns, and monitoring organic and paid media campaign performance.

  • May interact with other departments to design, create and execute materials for internal initiatives.

 


Requirements:


 



  • Requires 3+ years of graphic design and marketing communications strategy.

  • High degree of creativity with an intermediate skill level in digital design and HTML.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media engagement strategies, campaign creation, measurement and reporting.

  • Understanding of market segmentation strategies with the ability to define target candidate personas and determine recruitment channels.

  • Analytical and critical thinking mindset for project management, scheduling and overall coordination of tasks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

 


Experience:


 



  • Expertise in using graphics software and website applications, including Adobe Photoshop and Canva.

  • Social media experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

  • Knowledge and experience working with social media tools such as Hootsuite, Chat bots and Calendly.

  • Experience with A|B testing, marketing automation and Google AdWords.

  • Familiar with ad budgeting and campaigns; recruitment experience and knowledge of best practices a plus.

  • Video photography expertise and experience using video editing programs such as Premiere Pro.

 


Education:


 


High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications or equivalent experience.
