Goodwill is looking for an E-Commerce Associate with a craft trade in selecting high-end products (antiques, collectibles, electronics, furniture, etc) to sell on our E-Commerce website. This may be Full time or a Part-time position..
The shift starts at 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm with Saturday & Sunday requirements.

The E-Commerce Outlet Processor will work in a fast paced production environment and will be responsible for selecting quality high-end products (antiques, collectibles, electronics, furniture, etc) from our Outlet staging area to sell online at Shopgoodwill.com, our E-Commerce website. This position works closely with Outlet Manager to ensure timely and efficient rotations to Outlet sales floor and sales from the E-commerce web-site. Performs researching responsibilities including cost comparisons and authentication of items.

Minimum Pay starts at $14.77 per hour.   Additional increases may be available depending on experience and performance.

Part Time employees in are eligible for paid holidays, floating holidays, sick leave, jury duty and bereavement leave.  Part time employees can also make pre-tax contributions to a retirement plan and some part time employees who work enough hours in a year may become eligible for employer contributions to their retirement.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 The E-Commerce Processor will be assigned a primary area of focus, but may function in the other areas as business needs dictate.

 Production Processing Duties:


  • Selects quality high-end products from Outlet staging area before rotation.

  • Organizes containers using pallet jack and other industrial equipment.

  • Grades items in good condition: only pass product with $25.00 or higher value downstream.

  • Cleans and test items as needed.

  • Keeps accurate and efficient order of inventory items.

  • Coordinates with shipping department to ensure accurate movement of product.

  • Review and print reports of paid items and sales.

  • Packages items safely, using proper-sized boxes, bubble tape, impact cushions and packing peanuts.

  • Utilizes tools such as scale, measuring tape and tape gun.

  • Safe guards all selected items for E-Commerce sales, ensuring the processing area is secured and locked.

All Duties:


  • Sorts jewelry and other items when needed.

  • Reviews relist and recycle reports.

  • Pulls recycled items as needed.

  • Performs quality inspections to ensure merchandise meets quality control standards.

  • Meets or exceeds productivity standards for assigned duties.

  • Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with management, co-workers, customers, and donors.

  • Uses effective written and verbal communication. Use good interpersonal skills, treating everyone with dignity and respect.

  • Advises supervisor of significant and unexpected problems immediately.

  • Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.

  • Follows all Goodwill policies and procedures. Follows safety rules and regulations. Acts safely at all times.

  • Fills in to work in other areas (tipping, training and sorting) of the Outlet department as needed.

  • Works flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, evenings and holidays, if required.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
