Public Relations Internship


Merz Aesthetics, the world’s largest dedicated medical aesthetics business, is seeking a Fall 2021 intern for our PR & Communications team at our global headquarters located in Raleigh, N.C. Our college internship program is designed to provide outstanding PR and communications students with a valuable learning experience to supplement their education. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional setting as well as benefit from team coaching on how to best advance your future career.


As an intern you will be paid $18.00 an hour. Your internship will run from September through November (10 weeks).  This opportunity will require a commitment of at least 15-20 hours a week. Hours will be flexible based on availability but you will be required to work from the Raleigh office a minimum of one full day a week. 


Intern responsibilities will vary but include supporting all aspects of best-in-class, traditional/non-traditional PR programs including research projects, writing content of all kinds, media outreach, celebrity and influencer engagement, social media, executive visibility programs and community relations.


We are looking for:



  • Undergraduates in their junior or senior year

  • Majors include public relations, communications/marketing, journalism or related

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US

"Preferences":



  • Interest in the consumer lifestyle, beauty and or health/wellness fields

  • Detail-oriented with strong writing skills

  • Creative thinkers

  • Familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Proven multi-tasker and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
