Summary of Role

The Content Manager is responsible for preparing, managing and delivering content through owned platforms.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities


  • Choose or recommend appropriate platforms for content posting or distribution

  • Work with Content Strategists to deliver on content strategies

  • Assist in content development, brainstorming and concepting

  • Understand and provide metrics as needed across channels

  • Develop live tweet content and posting for Association events

  • Monitor social media performance and sentiment

  • Schedule and manage content for AICPA social channels

  • Distribute content for sharing (via Clearview Social)

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for social use

Supervisory Responsibilities


  • None

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required


  • Strong writing skills

  • Understand content and its use for driving various results

  • Experience with and ability to use Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio

  • Able to adapt, or ?slice and dice? content for a variety of platforms

  • Able to use Clearview Social for sharing

  • In-depth knowledge of all major social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, others) including specifications, usage rules and best practices

  • Familiarity with TweetDeck

  • User-level experience with Microsoft Windows in an Enterprise environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneDrive

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education


  • 2+ years social media management experience

  • Bachelor?s degree in a Communications discipline

  • Highly organized, able to work in an environment of rapid change

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education


  • Experience working with multinational teams in different time zones

  • Familiarity with Microsoft office

  • Occasional flexibility in hours to accommodate events and coworkers in international timezones

  • Familiarity with the differences in U.S. and U.K. English
