Supports the Director, Business Support & Philanthropy assisting in the administration of multiple programs and projects directly supporting the Chief Business Officer’s Organization. Acts as a liaison between the Chief Business Officer (CBO) department teams and ITC Finance and Accounting departments. Assists in administering the Corporate Giving Program and provides occasional back-up to the Customer Relations Representative
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as liaison to the Chief Business Officer (CBO) department teams to ensure proper communication, processes and accounting for invoice review and approvals processing, purchase order management, annual budgeting, monthly budget to actual reporting, research, error correction and any ad hoc requests and questions.
Coordinates any reporting requests around sustainability, political outreach, memberships etc.
Assists in administering the Corporate Giving Program for ITC including tracking, vendor creation/reactivation, payment request processing, reconciliation and reporting.
Works on cross-functional teams to help identify areas of process improvement
Assists leader with any special projects.
Maintains working knowledge and familiarity with the customer relations management system and provides back-up support for the Customer Relations Representative, as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education, including a general knowledge of accounting and/or finance related experience and/or education with a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant business experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate and work with people at all levels of the company.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time with demanding deadlines.
Dependable, trustworthy, self-motivated person with the ability to work unsupervised.
Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to see the big picture and look past current processes and practices to evaluate process improvements and potential new solutions.
Collaborative and open attitude with a willingness to participate on various projects to support the success of the department overall.
