CT Technologist, CAT Scan, PRN, Variable, Albuquerque, NM We are looking for a CT Technologist to join our CAT Scan team in Albuquerque, NM. This PRN (as needed) job is located Lovelace Medical Center, an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, cardiology, stroke care, radiology and oncology services, including the state's only Gamma Knife Center for non-invasive radiologic brain surgery. CT Technologist Job Responsibilities: Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures. May provide clerical support to assigned department to include but not limited to maintaining records, answering phones and scheduling appointment. Administers contrast media accurately under direction of the Radiologist both manually and with pressure injector. Assists with biopsy and drainage procedures in CT in conjunction with Interventional Department. CT Technologist Education and Experience Job Requirements: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent Bachelor of Science Degree desired Formal CT education One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist, one year as a CT Technologist desired ARRT, Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by State of NM Current BLS Basic Computer skills Proficient with pressure injectors CT biopsy procedures Cross sectional anatomy Sterile techniques and patient monitoring Radiation safety Why Lovelace?
