Detailed Description:

* Washes vehicles and equipment

* Cleans the wash bay, ensures cleaning supplies are available, and inventory is maintained

* Assists in the daily upkeep and maintenance of the district structures, facilities, and grounds; duties include but not limited to mowing, weeding, cleaning, picking up and proper storage of tools, cleaning floors, emptying trash cans, and other housekeeping tasks

* May include receiving incoming orders of parts and materials from production departments, customers, and external vendors

* Operates forklifts, Sky-Tracks, loaders, etc.

* Conducts proper Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)

* Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

* Dependable, responsible, and maintain good attendance

* Complete all required safety and equipment training and maintain all required certifications

* Safety-oriented, keeping safety as priority one

* Ability to prioritize and organize daily duties, work safely around district facilities, structures and equipment

* Follow instructions, be dependable and responsible, and have the desire and willingness to work as a team and learn new skills

* Demonstrate clear communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak English as well as understand and promptly follow verbal and written instructions in English

* Ability to frequently lift or move up to 80 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces

* Able and willing to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl throughout the work shift

* Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all required times and designated locations

* Ability to work on weekends as required by business needs

* Not permitted to drive on behalf of the Company, including but not limited to operating/driving a Company vehicle

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED certificate

* 1+ year experience in a related position or military service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of building maintenance functions


• Previous experience operating material handling equipment, such as a forklift and crane

Working Conditions:

Employees must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others, including coworkers and third parties, including wearing any required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times. This position may require the employee to work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
