Job Description:

We are looking for a talented IT Solution Analyst – Senior to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning, Material Planning and Integrated Business Planning for our Corporate Supply Chain IT organization in Columbus, IN.

This is an exciting role that will allow you to shape the design of our IT planning solutions across Cummins for years to come. Reporting to the IT Planning Leader, the candidate will be part of a team responsible for delivering IT planning solutions that enable our Aftermarket transformation journey.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


  • At the heart of the IT design team helping to deliver exceptional and standardized planning solutions across Cummins Aftermarket and Distribution Business Unit, which includes 35 ERPs across all regions involving over 350 nodes in the network.

  • Take ownership for specific areas of the solutioning, handling the more complex requirements, driving the correct solutions.

  • Help us to retire our aging Aftermarket planning platform with the One Network SaaS application.

  • Oversee the successful delivery of Demand Planning, multi-echelon inventory optimization, distributed requirements planning and supplier collaboration.

  • Ensure what is built works globally across the differing business units, regions, and manufacturing plants.

  • Deliver best in class solutions using Oracle’s Advanced Planning tools as well as other on-premise and SaaS Cloud based applications.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:


  • 3 years+ of strong technical skills in supply chain (inventory, planning, purchasing).

  • Experience in Material Resource Planning, Inventory, Purchasing and Order Management is ideal.

  • A working knowledge of bills of material, work in process and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is preferable.

  • Demonstrate proven IT project and solution implementation experience that have been both technical and complex.

  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
