Your Responsibilities

As a Manager of Data Analytics( Analytics & Competitive Intelligence Manager) for (Parts Pricing) located in (Cary, NC-Fully Remote), you will....


  • Lead and directa team of analytics professionals in delivering high- quality metrics, reporting or analysis.
  • Prepare and facilitates regular communication to various stakeholders and provides business insights to operations, and division or function leaders derived from analysis performed by the team.
  • Directs the development, maintenance and implementation of statistically-based tools and ensures the integrity and efficacy of the tools; implements and maintains necessary systems.
  • Oversees the management of data collection, data analysis and systems to track and identify problems.
  • Manages and provides work direction to a group of professional staff, including ensuring availability of appropriate resources, coaching, performance management, monitoring progress against established goals, and associated administrative duties.
  • Oversees development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of models, processes and procedures to identify, initiate and deliver opportunities for data-driven insight that will improve business results.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)


  • 4 or more years - Basic Knowledge on software development principles and architecture (High)
  • 4 or more years - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities (High)
  • 4 or more years - Ability to break down and understand complex business problems, define a solution and implement it using advanced quantitative methods (Medium)
  • 4 or more years - Familiarity with programming for data analysis, ideally Python, SQL, or R (High)
  • 4 or more years - Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods (Medium)
  • 4 or more years - Great work ethic and intellectual curiosity (High)
  • 4 or more years - Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud (High)
  • 4 or more years - Must be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have experience working with customers across the globe (Medium)

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)


  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, economics and trend forecasting.
  • Programming skills necessary to create and maintain applications.
  • Understanding of various functions within respective business. Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
  • Understanding of machine-learning and operations research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading projects and/or initiatives
  • People developer, fosters teamwork and engagement

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, computer science, information technology, economics and engineering, statistics)
