Your Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager for Deere & Company located in Moline, IL, you will....

• Utilize knowledge of tax law to prepare and review corporate tax return and supporting schedules
• Apply knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), especially ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
• Research and analyze complex tax issues
• Understand the global nature, various divisions, and related accounting functions of the enterprise
• Perform more complex functions, understand accounting and tax principles, and may teach others

What Skills You Need

• 8 or more years of previous accounting or finance experience
• 7 or more years of experience in corporate tax related matters
• Ability to perform tax research
• Experience meeting critical compliance timelines, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and requirements and delivering on commitments to stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills including written, oral and presentation capabilities
• Ability and willingness to travel minimally
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures

What Makes You Stand Out

• 10 or more years of previous corporate tax experience

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance discipline
