Job Description:

Kid Zone Staff is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate experiences for children from 6 weeks to 6 years in a group setting and for the general safety of the participants in their group.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure safety of participants, staff and volunteers in assigned program areas.
Organize, supervise and facilitate youth in a variety program activities that are culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate in an outdoor and indoor programing, in a variety of weather condition.
Adhere to program standards including and cleanliness standards.
Ensure program facility, equipment is ready for use and deemed safe, including storage areas are clean and organized.
Promote inclusiveness and community amongst participants and others in program.
Stay informed of youth program offerings and cross promote when appropriate.

Qualifications:

Must be 16 years of age.
Previous experience working with children preferred.

Physical Demands:

Continuous: standing, walking, jogging.
Frequently: stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending at the waist, twisting, balancing, squatting, crawling, standing in place.
Occasionally: running, lifting/moving equipment up to 45 lbs.

Schedule:
We have a variety of shifts available, including Monday-Friday 8:45am-1:15pm, Monday-Friday 3:45am-7:15pm, and/or Saturday 8:15am-12:45pm.
