Summary:

The dynamic and challenging nature of K-C’s businesses necessitates that reliable, insightful and efficient reporting of global and regional working capital and cash flow performance are a core competency to ensure that Business Leaders are provided with information to influence decisions that will help drive business results with urgency.  This role whilst based in NA includes global responsibilities and therefore has exposure to Global in addition to North America senior business leaders.

Overall, your role will be responsible to lead, challenge and influence the regional business teams and Global Business Services (GBS) to drive continuous and sustainable Working Capital, Cash Flow and Cash Conversion Cycle improvements for the shareholders.  The importance of Working Capital and Cash Flow, while always high for K-C, has recently increased in priority with the adoption of Free Cash Flow Conversion as a heavily weighted compensation metric starting this year.

While you will work within the FP&A Operations COE team, this role provides an opportunity to work across a broad spectrum of business process teams and to partner across all regions and GBS locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Identify and assess opportunities to improve working capital and cash flow performance.

  • Challenge supply chain and business teams.

  • Evaluate execution and track performance of the working capital and cash flow improvement initiatives being implemented.

  • Deliver North America & LAO working capital and cash flow monthly reporting including trend analysis and analysis of change.

  • Create North America working capital (Receivables, Inventory & Payables) and cash flow driver-based forecast including presentation to leadership.

  • Support Global Cash Program workstream leaders with financial analysis as required to ensure consistent approach & utilizing existing data.

  • Support the ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from KCNA CFOs, business clients and GBS colleagues.

  • Actively support, and at times lead, Continuous Improvement projects to driver standardization, effectiveness and efficiency improvements of reporting processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement and talent/knowledge building across Business Analysis and GBS.

The Individual:


  • The ideal fit must be highly analytical, self-motivated, and quickly able to identify opportunities to eliminate, streamline, or automate routine tasks, allowing differences only where they create unique value.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to work across multiple functions and geographies and diverse cultures.

  • Decisive with an ability to operate independently and effectively in the midst of ambiguity.

  • Good understanding of financial statements in the areas related to Working Capital / Cash Flow and key US GAAP principles.

  • Strong analytical mindset, experience in analysis including variance analysis (AOC).

  • SAP/BW/Business Objects, Tableau and ANAPLAN knowledge is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred or Accounting / CIMA qualification.

  • At least 7 years’ experience.
