Job Description:

Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for HR master data maintenance, reporting, analytics and operational support for all tkmNA companies across the US and Canada. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of HR system records as well as supporting the HR operations team in projects related to process improvement. This position reports to the HR Operations Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

Data Integrity & Analytics


  • Responsible for maintaining data accuracy as it relates to organization, position, and job structure master data in global HRIS system.

  • Processing of service request tickets, including entry and maintenance of employee master data, time data, and auditing for accuracy of key data points for payroll processing.

  • Support HR Operations Manager with preparation of reports on regular basis to ensure data integrity and provide analysis for key metrics.

  • Build and execute reports for HR audits in partnership with Finance, Benefits, and IT.

  • Support HR Operations Manager with preparation of KPI reports on monthly and quarterly basis and identify trends to inform HR strategic decision-making process.


Process Improvement

  • Document Data Team processes, development of checklists and forms to promote structure and ensure legal compliance (i.e. wage and hour laws, data protection laws, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify areas for process improvement to drive solutions.

  • Assist in identifying system requirements and testing new solutions.


Customer Service

  • Monitor HR Ops Ticket requests and ensure accurate completion within defined SLA's.

  • Provide automated and ad-hoc reports to business units/leadership upon request.

  • Provide support to HR users, employees, and managers with employee master data and org management inquiries.

  • Manage escalations of urgent issues while maintaining integrity of SLA's to determine when exceptions can and should be made

  • Develop work instructions and deliver training to field HR to support process compliance.

  • Participate in special projects, as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Analytical Acumen --- Ability to work with, decipher, and present large sets of data

  • Strong attention to detail, process orientation, and quality of work.

  • Ability to manage data for complex organization with variances in pay rules, state requirements, and union rules.

  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced HR Operations environment.

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

  • Experience with using logic and proven methodologies to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

  • Ability to create ad-hoc report requests based on customer needs.

  • Discipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

  • 3-5 years' of experience working within a corporate/centralized HRIS department and has a good understanding of HR practices, reporting and analytics needs

  • Solid experience working with MS Office, with strong skills in Excel

  • Prior responsibility for managing employee data in HRIS and/or Time & Attendance systems (SAP preferred)
