Job Description:
Infosys is seeking Technology Analyst- Oracle EBS & PL/SQL developer. The Candidate will primarily be responsible for providing PL/SQL development based solutions on various application products for customer's requirements. The Candidate will analyze requirements, come up with a design, and implement the same using Oracle PL/SQL technology. The Candidate must have good knowledge and expertise developing Oracle Procedures, Packages and Functions. Must have good understanding of cursors, Materialized views, Demoralization, and be able to explain plans. Develop PL/SQL code to process data, optimize processes. The candidate will work with a cross-section of organizations, including other DBAs, systems engineers, developers and the management team
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of San Diego, CA or be willing to relocate to the areas.
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree
- 2 years of Information Technology experience
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time
- 2 years' experience with Oracle PL/SQL design and development
- Performance and Optimization skills with respect to Oracle/PL SQL code
- Version Control and continuous Integration for Database Objects , Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with application development and support
- Development in ETL or any other technology like .net /java
- Knowledge on SQL Server will be a plus
- Unix/Perl Shell Scripting
- Batch Scheduling tools like Control M
- Ability to communicate com
- plex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
- Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
