Position Description:
Attention Binghamton, NY Area Students ONLY. This part-time temporary position is a great opportunity for a college student majoring in Business, Supply Chain, Engineer or a related field to gain some hands on experience working in our Materials/Purchasing department. Ideally the incumbent can work 25 - 35 hours per week while also attending classes. Working hours are during the day. Looking to start ASAP.

Incumbent will work directly with Sales, Engineering and Materials department to assist in the quotation process. Will also be expected to handle various administrative, inventory cycle counting and data entry tasks as need for the department.

Position Requirements:
• Working towards a degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering or related field
• The candidate must be PC literate with experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide thorough attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Familiar with a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience in creating process documentation a plus
• Pre-employment drug test and background check will be required.
• Physical requirements include the ability to move throughout the production facility to work with several operations departments.
