Job Description:

Our Customer Support Consultants perform variety of customer service activities for internal and external customers, providing information, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responding to customer phone and other communications, addresses questions/issues/problems/concerns.

We are hiring for our Customer Support Consultant team, with a start date of October 4, 2021.

This position will be based out of our Westbrook, ME location. If you are not located within accessibility to Westbrook, ME, this position will remain virtual. However, due to the current pandemic, as it relates to COVID-19, our employees' safety and well-being are top of mind for us. Currently, our Customer Support Consultants are working from home fulltime and will continue to do so through mid-2021. This means that we are providing our onboarding, training, and support for our new hires (like yourself) virtually as well.

In the role of Customer Support Consultant


  • You will provide customer technical support for one or more Company products or services, including pet and other animal health care-related products for veterinarians, medical diagnostic and water-testing equipment and other products and services.

  • Your support may consist of answering customer questions, explaining products and services, instructing in use of equipment, coordinating and assisting with equipment installations, configuring computer system hardware or software, troubleshooting and repairing system, database or data communication issues, customer order entry and billing or other priorities.

  • You will determine customer needs, researches and provides solutions, coordinating with other team members as needed.

  • You will ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and continuing strong customer relationships.

  • You will support quality management system and other compliance requirements.

Schedule:


  • This is a full time (40 hr/wk) position

  • The schedule would be set around the business needs of 9 am - 6pm (ET) Monday through Friday

  • You will have high quality customer facing inter-personal skills, with experience working with customers and maintaining good customer relationships.

  • You will have technical record keeping management skills.

  • You will have reasoning and analytical skills to resolve issues.

  • You will have phone skills, with ability to establish rapport.

  • You will have attention to detail.

  • You will be organized with ability to multi-task.

  • You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • You will have supervisory skills, if a lead position.

  • You will have communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate complex technical issues to technical and non-technical users in a professional, positive, friendly and understandable manner.

  • You will have personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
