Job Description

Position Title - Product Engineer – Characterization and System Design

Position Summary:
Looking for a highly motivated engineer who will be responsible for prototyping and characterizing test systems to validate state-of-the-art image sensors for Forza Silicon products.

Primary responsibilities will include:
• Write analysis scripts for image data analysis
• Capture data, analyze and report results
• Collaborate with design engineers to bring up, debug, test and resolve design issues on hardware platforms.
• Design of hardware systems to evaluate image sensors

Position Requirements:
Required knowledge and skills:

• Proficiency in Matlab scripting for data analysis, image processing, interfacing to hardware
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, DMM, network analyzers for debugging
• Proficiency in debugging issues and performing root cause analysis
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices and structures.
• Understanding of analog design basics.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Verilog language, Atlium and Pads Professional PCB design is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or with a small team

Education
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related science (M.S. preferred)
