About the job

Within our Contherm product center, you will be key to securing global sales for our product line.  Our business primarily supports the global food, protein and personal care markets and you will create a business plan to increase both volume and market share while developing a team of international sales engineers.

In this role, you will be an active member of the Contherm Management team and will contribute to the strategy of the organization.  From a daily responsibility standpoint, you will:


  • Develop business plans to optimize sales generating activities.

  • Create and manage our digital journey in pursuit of optimizing our customer’s experience

  • Coach, lead and develop the team in application knowledge and commercial orientation

  • Act as primary responsible for service sales business development activities in the US

  • Work in close collaboration with Commercial Business Managers outside of the US to establish installed base presence

  • Support the development of channel partners as needed

  • Facilitate the presentation of Contherm product and application training

  • Establish Contherm Sales and Service pricing strategy

  • Implement policies, standards, values and culture

  • Secure the result of Continuous Improvement activities

What you know

You have excellent leadership, communication and management skills. You have high energy, a positive attitude and enjoy developing the employee base. You have prior experience in:


  • Process Industry, specifically in selling capital equipment

  • A variety of utilities such as steam/boiler application, liquid cooling systems or expansion refrigerants

  • Communicating technical information directly with customers and sales channels, in a group setting and one on one

  • Microsoft Office Suite

A bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Technology is preferred.
