Position Description:
Repair, adjustment, and maintenance of manufacturing machines and equipment, under limited supervision. Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Performs preventative maintenance as well as general maintenance on assigned equipment.

Responsibilities:
• Performs routine preventative maintenance in accordance with PM list instructions.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment as directed.
• Operates machines to perform tooling and equipment maintenance support.
• Fabricates new shop aids and support systems including plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for facilities infrastructure to enhance productivity.
• Participates in safety and TQP teams relevant to maintenance and safety.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Position Requirements:
High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years related experience including equipment maintenance and upkeep.

• Familiar with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and apparatus repair.
• Ability to safely operate equipment used for drilling, sanding, and grinding.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of shop math.
• Works effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic Rigging experience for small to medium machines.
• Formal tool-making experience is a plus.
