We are seeking a Full-time Seasonal groundskeeper to join our landscaping team.

This position will not only work the summer season but also help during the Fall. In Winter there is opportunity to assist with snow removal.  The position can work up to 30 hours per week in the Summer, Fall and Spring. This position may also develop into a more permanent position in the Fall/Winter with opportunities in other departments such as Culinary Services, Maintenance, and Housekeeping.

In general, this position will work Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the Spring, Summer and Fall as weather allows. This position may work occasional weekends and holidays.  This position will perform a variety of tasks involving maintenance of the Kendal Community grounds.  This includes, but is not limited to, mowing,  trimming, blowing, mulching, pruning, plant installation, watering, weeding, and fertilizing.

Qualifications:  Capable of operating all lawn and garden equipment.  Experience with lawn mowing is a plus.  Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills.  Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations.  Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio and be insurable by Kendal’s insurance.  Ability to operate company equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
