Primary responsibility for Solution Sales coverage around Maryland in support of the capture and management of end user accounts.

The successful candidate will be a high performing sales professional. The primary focus of this role is the acquisition of new and management of existing end user accounts. This position requires a continuing commitment to stay current on our latest technology. The ideal candidate will then highlight and recommend solutions and services that best fit each customer's business needs.

A key responsibility is continued attentiveness to our accounts by anticipating customer concerns and staying engaged during the performance of our services to support the client outcomes as well as our delivery team.

This position requires active involvement in the building owner community through professional organizations and networking within the communities throughout MD. The successful candidate will involve themselves in the local communities (business development) to build and develop relationships that will benefit the entire sales team.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Solutions Sales Manager for Maryland and will be an active participant in the development and implementation of business strategies across all aspects of the business.

Duties include but not limited to:


  • Pursuing new customer relationships
  • Management of existing customer accounts
  • Preparing proposals for new and renewed services
  • Forecasting and maintaining orders pipeline
  • Networking internally and externally

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skill including the ability to function in highly charged situations with customers, teammates, team members, peers and contemporaries.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems (emphasis on BAS, Security, Fire, and/or Mechanical)
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Sales experience (3-5 years)
  • Strong collaborative skills, internal and external
