The Curation Specialist is part of the Platform and Data team within OUTFRONT and is responsible for data curation and management of all Outfront inventory in the Master Asset Database. This position is largely focused upon ingesting, matching, cleaning, and verifying geolocation data before it is published into our audience platform (smartSCOUT). Working with the rest of the Product team, the Curation Specialist works fluidly to assure the accuracy and quality of all inventory/asset related data that is published into the platform. The Curation Specialist also serves as the contact point between local market Master Asset Database editors and the Product team, and may interface with the Inventory Management Team as needed.
Principal responsibilities
Collect, curate and manage inventory data required by various constituencies (internal/external)
Drawing and auditing viewsheds and other related geolocation data
Auditing existing asset geolocation data
Curating new/converted assets
Curating and mapping transit station inventory (bus and rail as example)
Curating transit route information and related data points
User testing for Platform enhancements
User support for smartSCOUT audience platform
The ideal person
Is eager to learn and detail oriented
Has strong communication and organizational skills
Is familiar with the state of out of home advertising
Has ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Your skills
At least 1+ years experience in curation and/or geolocation based operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Excel
Reporting
The position reports to the Platform and Data team within the Product organization, with the ability to be located remotely.
