Accounts Receivable Supervisor at CONMED Corporation in Utica, New York

Job Description:

At CONMED, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor is an integral part of our Corporate Treasury team located in Utica, NY. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of Accounts receivable staff and will collaborate with cross functional teams. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will have input into the development and implementation of policies and procedures and will manage the accurate and timely posting of customer payments and credits.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Review of banking and credit card/merchant services activities related to customer payments and reconcile daily postings to bank transactions


• Identify and resolve discrepancies


• Coach and direct a team of 4-5 accounts receivable clerks and analysts


• Evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function


• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions


• Ensure appropriate controls are in place and consistently followed by team

Requirements include:

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field


• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable function


• 2+ years proven history in supervising a team is strongly preferred


• Familiarity with banking and credit card payment processes


• Experience working in a fast paced, high volume organization


• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and highly detail orientated


• 0-20% Travel
