Job Description:
Role: SAP BASIS Cloud Engineer
Location: Portland, OR, primarily but open to multiple locations across the US. Travel and relocation on case by case.
Duration: Full Time only – Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Job responsibilities
- Able to handle a team of 10+ SAP Basis Consultants.
- Communicates well with the Business System Analysts for gathering and understanding requirements.
- Highly proficient in SAP Administration
- Knowledge on Oracle Database administration and Oracle Database Data guard setup
- HA DR setup for SAP applications and Oracle DB.
- Must have knowledge to leverage SAP tools for OS/DB Migration.
- Good to have knowledge on sizing of SAP application and Database
- Must have knowledge on installation of SAP application such as SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Portal
- Must have knowledge on upgrading SAP applications and DB such as HANA and Oracle upgrades.
- Must have knowledge on SAP Oracle Administration, backup/ restore and refresh.
- Should have strong experience of architecting SAP on Azure
- Strong experience in handling large sized Oracle database
- Should have strong experience in Oracle Administration
- Should have experience in SAP cloud migration to Azure
- Unix scripting knowledge is an advantage to have.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience.
- Strong experience in handling large sized Oracle database.
- Strong experience in Oracle Administration
- Experience in SAP cloud migration to Azure
