Human Resources, Strategic Deals People Solutions Lead - Remote at Cognizant in Teaneck, New Jersey

Position Summary:

This role will serve as part of our global people focused organization strategically aligned to support sales and increased revenue utilizing customizable Human Resource people solutions. The People Solution Lead focuses on creating a comprehensive HR strategy and solution that directly aligns and supports the Cognizant strategy for new business opportunities, driving a higher employee acceptance & retention rate while adhering to each client’s strategic objectives and considering the employee engagement experience.

Functional Responsibilities:


  • Manage the RFI/RFP responses for large/complex opportunities

  • Develop innovative end-to-end people solution design that enables Cognizant to achieve the company’s business goals and objectives

  • Establish strong customer engagement and professional relationships with internal partners

  • Advisory role to strategic engagements on employment matters and provide counseling, coaching, and problem solving to guarantee adherence with federal, state, and local laws

  • Participate and contribute to all business strategies including opportunity evaluation, competitive analysis and story board workshops

  • Conduct detailed Due Diligence and gap analysis to determine policy harmonization and comparability in employment

  • Lead all client facing interactions (oral presentations, due diligence, solution design, town halls, day one, offer letter, client status reporting and meetings)

  • Negotiate legally defensible transfer provisions

  • Create HR/People related financial impact analysis based on headcount solution and negotiated transfer provisions

  • Maintain overall ownership for people integrations across the Americas with strong global relationships for opportunities that extend beyond

  • Partner with Integration Lead for all communication plans and change Management

  • Assure all project management objectives are met

  • Lead the development of deal repeatable tools and processes (i.e. training, playbooks, identify new employee engagement transition approach, etc.)

Qualifications:


  • Rebadge Outsourcing experience or minimum 5-7 years applicable HR/operational experience.

  • B.A or B.S Degree required; Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred

Required Skills:


  • Proven ability to work in a deadline driven environment and handle multiple projects and aggressive timelines simultaneously

  • Successful team player who builds and maintains solid relationships with both client and internal teams, creating a collaborative work environment.

  • Ability to manage and protect highly confidential information

  • Must be able to prioritize workload and adapt to changing demands

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with and present to all levels including executives and C-Suite members

  • Experience leading or participating in outsourcing deals resulting in people impact with working knowledge of the deal principals and landscape.

  • Ability to turn strategy into workable/deliverable plans

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong project management and coordination skills

  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
