In this remote role, the leader of our America's Field Marketing team will be responsible for developing and executing high impact regional marketing plans that help move accounts through our sales cycle faster and more effectively. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Field and Demand Marketing, working closely with sales and global marketing teams to deliver campaigns that drive results and expand our local footprint. Specifically, this person will be responsible for:


  • Driving and partnering with regional sales leaders to develop quarterly marketing plans tailored to the immediate needs of local markets and their target accounts.


  • Identifying growth opportunities and executing campaigns and activities focused on acquiring new customers and shortening the sales cycle for key accounts.


  • Introducing and testing new programs and styles of account-based marketing strategies to drive demand generation and pipeline with key segments. Programs will include on- and offline tactics and span the entire sales cycle, focused by region, and sometimes by vertical.


  • Serving as the point person for all marketing activity for the region, coordinating closely with functional leaders in corporate teams.


  • Reporting on results of specific tactics as well as the breadth of the field marketing program in your regions.


  • Building and managing a high performing and diverse regional marketing team.


  • Evaluating and prioritizing various programs across countries to ensure budget and results are achieved.


Qualifications / Requirements


  • Minimum of 15 years in Marketing with experience in enterprise software, Big Data experience desired (databases, analytics, business intelligence or a related area).


  • Deep familiarity with European enterprise B-to-B software market.


  • Knowledge and experience with modern demand generation and integrated marketing.


  • B.A. / B.S or equivalent undergraduate degree, relevant technical subject preferred. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


  • Very strong written and communications skills - must be able to communicate the value proposition of the company, create original content (case studies, slide decks, white papers, landing pages, etc...), present to a wide range of audiences, from senior executives at customers, to large audiences, to relatively technical people.


  • Player-coach attitude & results required - Must be enthusiastic about developing the plan, but also doing the work


  • First language must be English, or display absolute English fluency if it's not your native language. Multiple languages are a strong plus, but not required.


  • Travel may be required throughout the US, with occasional travel to more distant regions.
