Description

The Sr. Customer Service Representative conducts customer and bank transactions with accuracy, speed, efficiency and professionalism to meet the high quality service delivery standards of the bank. The incumbent consistently follows all security and safety measures and acts in accordance with the Bank policies and procedures in order to ensure that all clients are provided with an exceptional client service experience, processing all paperwork associated with transactions including properly filing or discarding of all sensitive information. The Sr. Customer Service Representative helps uncover more complex client product and service needs referring clients and prospects to more senior team members as appropriate. May open consumer and non-personal new accounts with accuracy and, efficiency and professionalism meeting the bank's high quality service delivery standards. May serve as a first point of contact for an assigned portfolio of accounts generating when appropriate referrals to various resources within the bank.


The incumbent performs other basic operational and service related functions as appropriate and necessary to insure that the branch operates efficiently. They understand and comply with bank policy and regulations applicable to assigned job duties. This includes but not limited to attending and completing all compliance training, adherence to all internal procedures and controls and reporting any suspicious activity.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other Bank Transactions including night deposit, courier and ATM deposits within assigned limits serving as the first line of defense from a risk management perspective




  • Balance and maintain cash drawer in accordance with branch performance standards




  • Proactively respond to incoming calls and serves as a customer advocate in researching and resolving errors and answering questions




  • Develop and maintain knowledge of and adhere to all regulatory, compliance, banking policies and procedures applicable to this position




  • Responsible for reviewing and verifying daily reports assigned by Branch Management




  • Open consumer and non-personal accounts in accordance with established bank policies and procedures. Has strong knowledge of the various bank deposit products and services




  • Performs basic account maintenance in accordance with establish bank policies and procedures within assigned limits





QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bank Teller experience required



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School diploma/GED preferred

  • Horizon or Horizon Teller Systems experience preferred
