Mission Statement: Revolutionizing fueling operations globally by optimizing safety, efficiency, reliability and environmental sustainability through innovative fuel handling and information management solutions.

Responsibilities:

-Assists Supervisor in managing the safety, quality and delivery in cell. Helps to coordinate daily work activity as directed by the Supervisors and effectively communicates daily production targets to associates.

-Communicates effectively with hourly associates as well as plant management.

-Lead individual daily Kaizens for the cell and fosters an environment where associates are encouraged to make improvements in 5S, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Follow through to make sure Kaizens are completed.

-Ensures housekeeping is maintained for the cell.

-Trains new and existing associates in the cell and ensures team is knowledgeable on safety procedures and quality standards. Facilitates weekly safety meetings with team.

-Monitor attendance and break schedules to ensure associates are working appropriate hours during the shift.

-Travel to Cincinnati, OHas needed to participate in required training.

Required Skills:

-High School Diploma or GED or in lieu of, must possess a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing/Production experience.

-Satisfactory completion of a 90 day review program.

-Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension in both verbal and written communication.

-Sustained satisfactory attendance (points will be evaluated).

-No history of repeated or severe disciplinary action for violation of OPW company policy.

-Satisfactory completion of all required training programs.

-Must be willing and able to travel to Cincinnati, OH for training purposes.

-Demonstrated ability to handle people related issues with tact and diplomacy as well as leading by example. The ability to effectively delegate work to fellow associates is key.

-Must be willing to foster an environment where hourly associates are encouraged to post suggestions to Kaizen board.

-Willing and able to help others achieve daily production goals while adhering to safety policies and quality standards.

-Ability to troubleshoot and correct manufacturing defects.

-Fosters a 5S culture within team.

-Must be willing and able to comply with all plant safety policies.

-Ability to work adjusted shift times and work overtime to accomodate production/project needs. Working weekends may be required.

-Must be currently employed and trained in nozzle assembly
