This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities surrounding (1) pricing/analytics (2) commercial contracts with customers for sale of pharmaceutical products (3) insurance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Pricing/Analytics: Under the direction of the Sr. Director, Finance & Commercial Contracts:
Perform pricing reviews and approvals on NAG customer bids
Perform pricing analysis & provide actionable insights to management
Set up accruals in SAP for billing
Perform other duties, as assigned
Commercial Contracts: Under the direction of the Director, Commercial Contracts:
Manage assigned accounts relating to commercial contracts for the SRx (Specialty Rx) business.
Prepare and review contract documents, such as:
Terms and conditions
Offer letters
RFP/RFI (Request for Proposal/Request for Information) submissions
Other requests as they may arise
Assist in contract negotiation with internal stakeholders (such as sales, marketing, management, legal, etc.) and external stakeholders (customers, etc.) to negotiate contract terms that align with Dr. Reddy's policies and business objectives.
Support the business teams in new streams of business and in other items that may arise
Disseminate information to appropriate internal parties, as required
Coordinate conference calls with the sales team for open bid / contracts updates.
Provide contract summaries
Maintain/update various databases with updates
Load pricing in SAP/Vistex, as needed
Work closely with overseas finance team on system updates; price/rebate/fee loading; chargeback queries; address other queries, as they arise
Perform other duties, as assigned
Insurance: Support in Management of insurance related activities, such as:
Assist in policy renewals and premium validations
Coordinating with insurers for arrange the Certificate of Insurance
Review the insurance provisions in contract terms with customers
Perform other duties, as assigned related to insurance
Qualities:
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Ability to quickly learn and use our enterprise management system, SAP, as well as Vistex, which is embedded within SAP
Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills
High attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple projects/multi-task
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education Required: B.S. in Accounting/Finance or CA /CPA preferred.
