IT QA Analyst 2 Job Summary

Location: Westfield Center, OH Home Office

Salary Range: $69,476 - $90,319

Responsible for collaborating with delivery teams and contributing to all aspects of the testing discipline to apply quality assurance and control techniques. Focused on increasing knowledge in and developing all testing skills and some testing leadership skills. This position interfaces with cross-functional teams to eliminate or inform the business of risk associated with IT changes.

Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance)


  1. Responsible for all delivery aspects of assigned initiatives. This includes contributing towards test planning, estimation process, and test plan reviews.

  2. Creates and executes test cases for assigned initiatives to include all aspects of testing.

  3. Collaborates and communicates effectively with all delivery roles and stakeholders regarding status and issues on a timely basis.

  4. Responsible for adhering to testing standards and methodologies.

  5. Identifies quality issues and risks found during testing assignments.

  6. Leverages domain experience and tools to optimize delivery.

  7. Provides process improvement ideas and participates in improvements.

  8. Remains current on technology, trends, methods (e.g. processes), best practices, etc. through research, industry events, networking, and etc.

  9. Travels as needed in order to perform other essential functions, special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations.

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance)


  1. 2+ years of testing experience.

  2. Experience in collaborating across disciplines and can apply prevention techniques.

  3. Experience quickly learning new technologies, understanding system integrations, web services, and corresponding data flows.

    1. Experience writing entry level SQL (for data roles only).



  4. Experience with leveraging technologies to perform testing functions including defect reporting tools, data analytical tools, automation tools, etc.

  5. Experience working within hybrid (e.g. onshore/offshore) staffing models.

  6. Experience working within multiple software development lifecycle methodologies.

  7. Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to interact with all levels of delivery teams.

  8. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field OR commensurate experience.

  9. Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.

  • Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of time).

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail etc.

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • Ability to operate an automobile within the parameters of the driving policy.
