About Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club

A revolutionized dining, drinking and entertainment establishment opening mid-September across from Vivint Arena in Fountain Plaza at The Gateway. Owned and operated by Las Vegas-headquartered Carver Road Hospitality, the complex will feature a restaurant, three bars, 400-square-feet of LED screens, private karaoke and golf simulator rooms, a central nightclub and a cocktail lounge with bowling.

Open seven days a week, the restaurant will serve American bar and grill food favorites along with more eclectic offerings and playfully crafted desserts, all freshly prepared in the full kitchen.

Position Summary

The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for set up and operation of any video, audio or lighting equipment used to enhance the venue. Interacts with guests, employees, and supervisors in a polite, respectful and courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as outlined in Employee Handbook.


• Anticipate and accommodate the AV needs while providing professional and exceptional service in order to ensure guest satisfaction.


• Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the AV areas.


• Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.


• Responsible for all set up of video, audio and lighting equipment including but not limited to microphones, lights, projectors, speakers and cameras.


• Assemble/Disassemble/Store any video, audio or lighting equipment as needed.


• Provide technical support for venue/company events.


• Troubleshooting equipment to ensure equipment runs smoothly.


• Conduct sound, visual and performance quality checks on AV equipment.


• Operate sound and visual equipment during events or as needed.


• Inspecting mountings and electrical equipment to ensure they conform to health and safety regulations.


• Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet guest requirements more efficiently.


• Knowledge of power, audio, visual and electrical systems.


• Portrays a positive and professional attitude.


• Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Previous AV experience.

• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.


• Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.


• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.


• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
