Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.

In a typical day as an Anaplan Solution Architect, you would:


  • Develops the technical vision for Anaplan for Sales Planning and Deployment processes (Segmentation, Top Accounts, Coverage, Rostering, Quota deployment & Metrics, Workforce planning) including alignment of processes requiring connected planning between Sales with Finance & HR.

  • Strong architectural oversight, including overseeing establishment of integrations with upstream / downstream systems

  • Responsible for data governance and management activities, simplify Data Governance when on-boarding new data or sources

  • Development of strategic roadmap & requirements management and delivery

  • Expedited delivery timelines through efficient request intake & management workflows

  • Provide guidance & training to Model Builders (design standards, new uses cases / defects resolution)

  • Ensure improved model performance through rigorous optimization

  • Enable self sufficiency in application dev and maintenance

  • Clearly articulate key metrics and information through visualizations to target audiences

  • Accelerate planning & value generation through higher quality data

  • Make sure there are no barriers in the way of end users adopting Anaplan, track how end users are using the system over time.  Ensure a great user experience for key users of Anaplan at the global, GEO and country level.

  • Create a culture to enable Connected Planning with HR, Sales and Finance and break any silos

  • Cost savings through minimization of process redundancy across territories

  • Solidify risk mitigation and protect against costly data breaches

  • Integration and enablement of key Company, GTM, or Sales Incentive strategic initiatives into the Sales readiness processes in Anaplan (mergers & acquisitions, NGIT transformation, new compensation programs) 

  • Perform retrospectives and identify /prioritize process improvements & monitor to the plans, including program quality metrics

  • Drive continuous process improvements with cross functional teams/management required

If you are:


  • Certified Anaplan Model Builder

  • Anaplan Solution Architect - Certification Exam: Achieve a high level of Anaplan model building activity 

  • Project management training or PMP certification desirable 

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university de

  • 8-10 years of related experience in business operations

  • 5 years of project management experience

  • Cross functional program management experience (ideally global)

  • Quality improvement experience or certification desirable (Green Belt)

  • Agile methodology

Knowledge and Skills Required


  • Program management skills (planning, execution and implementation)

  • Strong leadership skills – proactive, ability to influence and lead working teams

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement & communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation)

  • Cross functional team management

  • Knowledge of sales planning process, quota and coverage processes, Sales Territory Management.

  • In-depth knowledge of company operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.

  • Ability to drive process improvements/MOC using industry standard quality improvements tools and concepts.

  • Data analytics, ability to understand implications and ability to summarize outcomes, actions

  • Ability to work independently

  • Experience in leading large global strategic programs

Annual Salary: $107,600.00 - $156,000.00
