The SEI Wealth Platform has a challenging career opportunity for a Data Migration Business Analyst. You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be a strong 'utility' type analyst with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel.


What you'll do:


  • Lead and/or participate in various simultaneous client and internal projects or initiatives.

  • Participate in the new client implementation process, specifically focusing on identifying, verifying, and documenting data mapping requirements from client & SEI legacy source systems.

  • Maintain project and team artifacts.

  • Effectively support status updates to SEI stakeholders and clients as needed.

  • Manage collection and population of data migration items in support of client conversion to the SEI Wealth Platform.

  • Engage various internal teams as needed to support potential changes in service or operational processes including development needs.

  • Perform effectively in a team environment including internal SEI teams (market units, development, operations).

  • Where required, train other team members.

  • Be able to function as an individual contributor and make independent decisions where needed.

  • Monitor and adhere to administrative policies and procedures


What you bring to the table:


  • B.S./B.A. in Business, Computer Science or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business domain or background in Business Analysis

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or with investment processing systems.

  • Understanding of relational databases and demonstrated ability to write SQL queries.

  • Working knowledge of SEI Wealth Platform specifically related to currency, fee and statement events, asset set up, investment compliance rules and account set up.

  • Knowledge of global instruments including equity, fixed income and funds, as well as the Private Banking business.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
