Position Description:

The Global Fixed Income Management Team in the Investment Management Unit (IMU) is seeking a Fixed Income Account Manager to join a team of successful professionals to assist in the management of $8-billion of assets under management.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow with an asset management group within SEI's Investment Management Unit. This group continues to expand and grow assets in both the institutional and private client base. The unit utilizes a multi strategy approach that develops customized strategies for both institutions and high net worth individuals on a taxable and tax exempt basis.

What you'll Do:


  • You will be responsible for having a thorough understanding of client accounts. This deep knowledge will be essential in your ability to accurately perform trade executions and handle inquiries related to these accounts.

  • Using your analytical skills, you will review on a daily basis different report which include cash reports and other account specific reports to ensure the correctness and if needed, address any discrepancies as appropriate. Essentially you are responsible for the investment and management associated with your client accounts.

  • You will perform pre-trade compliance procedures applied at the account level confirming that the trades are compliant with the accounts stipulated strategy. We need your due diligence to maintain excellence for our clients.

  • As a key constituent in the process of asset allocation, you will perform responsibilities necessary for running the day-to-day functions of our trade execution management system. Our proprietary trade execution management system (T.E.M.) provides model metrics and asset allocation information at the account level.

  • You will also be working with other groups within SEI to resolve any account or trading discrepancies.

  • You will proactively look to develop your already strong knowledge of industry trends, our investment practices and approaches, and regulatory and market forces.

What you bring to the table:


  • 2 years of fixed income experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related subject area.

  • Ability to work under pressure I a fast pace environment and providing deliverables without sacrificing quality or excellence.
