Job Description:

Belimo is a global leader in the development, production and marketing of actuator solutions for controlling heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.  Actuators, control valves and sensors make up the company's core business.


JOB SUMMARY


The Logistics Scheduler is responsible for scheduling orders with the appropriate Manager.

REPORTING STRUCTURE


The Picker/Packer reports directly to the Manager, Logistics and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Major Duties:


  • Understand and comply with Belimo order release strategy for Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).

  • Manage and release material TO (Transport Order's) for Made to stock orders, Customized order's and replenishment picks.

  • Manage TO priorities and adjust them to ensure picks are completed in expected timeframe.

  • Provide Support to the Customer Service group and ensure appropriate coordination of internal logistics between all involved departments.

  • Ability to provide guidance and support to the Shipping staff.

  • Initiate and support continuous improvement of flows and processes. 

  • Manage priority induction parts and backorders.

Other Duties:


  • Support Inventory Cycle Counting.

  • Fill in as needed with the daily Logistics operation.

    • Update shipment data into Customers 3PL web platforms.

    • Obtain transportation quotes that meet the customer’s requirements.

    • Maintain and monitor truck and transportation schedule.



  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean and healthy working environment.

  • Maintain Training, propose continuous improvement of Processes and Procedures.

  • Responsible for housekeeping and general order within scope of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS



  • High School degree or equivalent 

  • Proficient Computer skills 

  • > 2 years Logistics experience

  • MRP systems experience, SAP plus

  • Experience to work in a diverse workforce

  • WMS systems

  • SAP

  • Time management

  • Work prioritization

  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally in a professional demeanor

  • Make sound operational decisions

  • Personal authority, integrity and ethics

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong organizational and monitoring skills
