Sales Operations Associate

BIOTRONIK is looking for a Sales Operations Associate to join our Sales Operations team.  Sales Operations is responsible for receiving and processing purchase/sales orders, issuing invoices, and resolving customer inquiries regarding sales activities for BIOTRONIK.  

The Sales Operations Associate provides a professional level of support to the field sales staff and hospital purchasing departments by possessing knowledge of BIOTRONIK products, policies, and procedures. Supports company goals in the areas of revenue growth and regulatory compliance.  Provides exemplary customer service to our internal customers, field and sales reps/management, and external customers.  This candidate will rise to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage competing priorities, and have a strong attention to detail. 

Currently this is a remote position that, once our campus reopens, will ultimately be a hypbrid of remote and in our Lake Oswego, OR office.

Your Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers, field sales force, internal departments, and team members.

  • Monitoring of sales order processing and exception handling.  Communicates with team and field sales/management as applicable for issue resolution.

  • Daily processing and entry of bulk sales orders as received through various media to ensure customer relationship needs and business requirements are met.

  • Represents the first point of customer contact for inquiries related to billing and invoicing, PO confirmations, shipment status, returns or back order status, and credit card orders.

  • Interact with Inventory Control, Contract Administration, and Accounting departments to ensure prompt order processing, invoice delivery, payment, and dispute resolution.

  • Interact with Customer Solutions department to ensure accurate and timely CardioMessenger shipment processing and supports confirmation of patient information.

  • Understand and comply with Regulatory and Quality Guidelines and departmental standard operating procedures.

  • May work as part of a Project Team Member to help administer and coordinate critical business needs, to further improve department efficiencies, or interdepartmental processes.  Opportunity to expand into inter-department projects based on demonstrated performance.

Your Profile


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • 1+ years’ experience in Sales operations or customer service involving online computer order processing

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Visio, Power Point, MS Project and Word

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal communication with diverse groups at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment and build strong working relationships.

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Positive and professional manner, strong focus on detail, accuracy, and accountability, and problem solving.

  • High degree of organization, prioritization, and initiative.

  • Helpful and conscientious with a willingness to solve problems.

  • Customer resolution with orders, invoicing, pricing, payments, and contracts preferred

  • SAP & Salesforce experience is preferred.

  • Project Management experience helpful.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:


  • ​​​​​​​This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

  • Flexible schedule may be necessary.

Travel Requirements:


  • Travel is not part of the daily job responsibility; however, opportunities may arise for employee training or vendor/customer meetings that could include travel.
