Desktop Support at Cognizant in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:



•    Expected to have good hands-on experience in resolving desktop issues

•    Provide resolution to the issues logged through various channels as per the agreed Service Levels Schedule 3 – Service Level Agreement (SLA).

•    Provide necessary support to traveling users based on the applicable service level agreement. 

•    Provide Level 1 support in triaging any printer hardware related issue.  The support will be limited to:

o    Level 1 triaging of issues such as paper jam or electric connection check-up 

o    Provide necessary information to the third party vendor involved in resolving printer hardware issue

•    Provide Level 1 support for any Audio, Video, and conference room equipment issues.  The support will be limited to:

o    Level 1 triaging of issues such as power connection to the AV equipment

o    Smart hands support to Wellington Management authorized third party support staff 

•    Provide necessary support to manage the Wellington Management’s PC hardware and peripherals depot. The support will be limited to providing necessary information to Wellington Management’s point of contact.

•    Perform necessary health check of any new device that is been handed over to the users.

•    Will be responsible for iMac activity including imaging and deploying PC’s as per Wellington Management standard process.

•    Provide support for Microsoft Office applications and mobile devices support (how to support Office or how to manage a iPhone/iPad)
