Job Description:

ADESA, a KAR Global company, is looking for a dedicated Automotive Body Repair Technician to work as part of our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preparation work on damaged vehicles prior to painting. • Responsible for all necessary preparation work on damaged surfaces of vehicles in accordance with auction and professional standards. 




• Team players. You have a desire to be a part of a team-based environment where each member relies on the other to keep a steady flow and maintain strong communication between your teammates and management.  




• Knowledgeable. You can spot aftermarket repairs, part replacements, collision repairs, and any hidden damages. 




• Safe. We have high regard for safety, you should too. 

• Skilled. In your role, you excel at and can successfully diagnose and repair damaged panels, parts, and bumpers through sanding, filling, and coat/feather. You will also clean/mask repaired areas, mix primer, and apply an appropriate number of coats of primer.

We Require: 

• Motor vehicle/criminal background checks for all positions 




• Pre-employment drug screen required (Excludes THC) 




• A valid Driver’s License and the ability to operate standard or automatic vehicles 




• You to have basic tools for Auto Body Repair Work 

We prefer:  

• You to have 1 -2 years of body repair technician experience 




• A Certification in Aluminum Repairs 




• I-CAR training
