Job Summary:
Manages all aspects of the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory control and availability of required materials. Supports the procurement function within an operating company by maximizing efficiencies associated with the provision of materials to the operation.
Essential Duties & Functions:
Manage all aspects of warehousing including handling stock reconciliations, handling incoming goods, issuing goods, receiving returned goods, stocktaking and managing quality and inspection stock.
Implement and manage warehousing strategies to ensure that movement and storage of goods is managed effectively throughout the operating company.
Ensure warehouse KPI's are met in order to support the effective running of the operating company and prepare and publish warehousing reports to demonstrate performance.
Drive improvement and results in operational efficiency and inventory improvement strategies.
Work closely with other functions (maintenance, production, finance) to effectively support the operation.
Generates the replenishment report on a daily basis and reviews for required material to be purchased.
Control levels on storeroom inventory items and materials as required based on the requirements generated from the replenishment report.
Purchases other items such as catalog, non-stock and direct purchase items as requested when necessary.
Has the primary responsibility for cycle counts with the requirement of counting all items per the cycle count policy.
Conducts inventory activities to ensure stock numbers, locations, and quantities are accurate and inventory records are updated.
Enters adjustments and returned material back into stock as required. Charges out material as necessary to the correct work order/entity.
Ensure OH&S requirements are met in the warehouse.

Qualifications:
Experience
3 years in purchasing or warehouse management
3 years in a manufacturing environment
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Proven previous contribution to inventory control, development and improvement
Experience in forecasting, MRP/ERP system
Computer skills
Proficient in MS Office
Proficient in ERP System ie SAP or Bentley
