Job Description:

The Coordinator role will provide support to the Acquisitions and Transactions Team in all facets of the underwriting, due diligence and closing process of acquisitions and dispositions, to include coordination all internal teams, brokers and all 3rd parties involved.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Works closely with Transaction Associates (TA’s) to provide support and assistance with due diligence research, organization and documentation.

  • Specific acquisition due diligence responsibilities include bidding and ordering of third-party reports, CRM setup, Checklist set-up, managing lease abstract process, market research exhibit, preparing information for tenant interviews and TA’s on-site visit, and various ad hoc needs throughout the inspection period and closing process.

  • Provide support to Transaction Analysts for underwriting model updates during due diligence, including preparing rent roll and CAM schedules and obtaining updated budgets from Leasing and Property Management.

  • Specific Disposition support includes organization of key documents for brokers and buyers, helping to answer questions, preparing/sending/tracking estoppels and other ad hoc support from the marketing process through due diligence and closing.

  • Manage the post-close file cleanup and archiving to Record Center once a transaction closes

  • Managing the update and distribution of key Acquisitions and Transactions reports to the company on a weekly basis

  • Participate in Acquisitions and Transactions weekly planning meetings and deal-specific hand-off meetings for all acquisitions and dispositions, to include support of key communications to ensure a smooth transition.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of work experience required; will consider additional relevant work experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

  • Prior commercial real estate experience preferred including familiarity with reading and interpreting legal documents, tenant leases and understanding tenant billings (especially CAM).

  • Must possess strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • High level of professionalism confidentiality discretion and judgment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
