Co-op Scientist - Coatings/Formulations Laboratory at Solvay USA in Bristol, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

The position is focusing on lab work for paint formulation and additive applications. Candidate will work under the direct supervision of a senior scientist on projects related to new paint additives development and applications, waterborne paint formulations, and paints & coatings evaluation. Candidate will have the opportunity to assist the senior scientist in developing correlations between the structure and performance of a number of additives in coating formulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct scientific experiments and report results to senior scientist
Compile experimental methods and data in a systematic order with appropriate notebook documentation
Proper use of safety rules and regulations related to the use of chemicals in the research and engineering laboratories
