Business Intelligence Analyst at K2Share, LLC in Remote, Texas

Job Description:

K2Share’s Federal Business is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Business Intelligence/Data Analyst with specific, demonstrated experience in Microsoft Power BI dashboard development and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities: 

·         Support data visualization services for cybersecurity risk management across our federal client base.

·         Innovate and problem-solve to provide actionable intelligence via data visualization solutions for our customers.

·         Creating tabular, multi-dimensional models, ingesting data from multiple sources, integrating API connections for automated report generation, and applying a sharp, creative design aesthetic.

·         Collaborate directly with our federal clients throughout the development process to identify and refine requirements and develop prototypes

·         Obtain client feedback and provide analysis and insights to allow the customer to make data-driven decisions.

·         Additional responsibilities include maintaining system documentation, developing job aids and SOPs, and providing end-user training and troubleshooting support. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI

·         Strong analytical skills with experience drawing conclusions and presenting results.

·         Experience managing, manipulating, and interpreting data.

·         Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

·         Ability to work with minimal oversight. 

Preferred Skills:

·         MSCA Certification in Microsoft Power BI

·         Knowledge of general cybersecurity concepts and terms

·         Knowledge of NIST Special Publications relating to cybersecurity risk management (i.e., SP 800-53)

·         Experience using SQL

·         Experience supporting US Government Federal clients

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analysis, MIS, or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Security Clearance: Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Federal Security Clearance. 

Work Environment: This job operates in a well-lit and temperature-controlled office environment. In this role, there will be standard office equipment such as phones, computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
