OVERVIEW


The Account Manager, Publisher Solutions will be responsible for generating digital advertising revenue and profitability, cultivating long-term strategic partnerships and increasing marketplace visibility for the company. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Ad Operations, s/he will be expected to meet and exceed advertising revenue goals by providing strategic digital advertising solutions designed to maximize customer objectives and goals.


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Monitor account health; conduct in-depth reviews to improve KPIs focused on revenue and profitability.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients from the time a contract is signed, including kickoff, launch, optimization, and growth.

  • Identify and develop opportunities for growth of key accounts; build and maintain a robust sales upsell pipeline pushing opportunities through the sales cycle to close.

  • Secure and execute client meetings to foster relationships, growth opportunities, and overall retention.

  • Understand client/market needs and champion product improvements (e.g. new features and functionality) to support customer retention.

  • Assist clients with ad hoc issues or questions relating launching their deal.

  • Prepare monthly billing statements for clients; work with client to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Increase exposure for the company among key decision makers in the advertising community.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profitability targets.

 


QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • 3+ years of client-facing experience in digital media, preferably in the ad tech industry.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, and critical thinking skills are required.

  • Understanding of the publisher and ad tech ecosystem.

  • Strong desire to be proactive and take ownership of client relationships.

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities/queues/requests at once.

  • Ability to work comfortably in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment.

  • A proven record or performance in meeting and exceeding sales goals, delivering significant revenue and customer growth.

  • Candidate must possess the ability to work within a team-oriented environment, but still excel as an individual contributor.

  • Strong interpersonal skills: demonstrate strong written and oral communication as well as outstanding people skills. 

  • Candidate should be an outgoing and energetic self-starter with a passion for working with clients and identifying opportunities.

  • Excellent computer skills required including proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, etc.

  • Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, ad servers, and CSS preferred.

  • BA/ BS or its equivalent is required.

  • In order to ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.

  • Given the significant responsibilities of this role, it is essential that this role be filled on a full-time basis only.
