The Program manager Perinatal Safety RN will work for a reputable health organization that provides quality care to patients throughout the country. Working closely with the Nurse Manager Maternal Child Health and reporting to the Senior Director of Nursing Administration, the RN Program Manager Perinatal Safety RN will be accountable for overseeing neonatal and obstetric safety programs, quality assurance, and education. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining programs for the inpatient and outpatient Women and Children Services department, ensure national clinical standards are maintained, promote patient safety initiatives, and create quality assurance educational curriculum for current department staff, new hires, hospital employees, physicians, families, and patients.
Ideally, the Program Manager Perinatal Safety RN will be a team oriented individual who is an excellent communicator that loves to promote a positive, safe, welcoming environment for the staff, patients, and families.

Although not required, the Program Manager Perinatal Safety RN may also be master’s prepared, and hold other National Certification Corporation NCC certifications including their Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB®), or Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN®), or Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety (C-ONQS), or other NCC Core or Sub-specialty certification.
