Our Inventory Coordinator is responsible for working with National and Local teams to curate the best mix of products for our dispensary customers. This role ensures all inventory actions are regulatory compliant and is also responsible for inventory intake, processing, organization, and maintenance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Following all applicable policies and procedures for managing cannabis and non-cannabis inventory, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for receiving and intake of product deliveries. This role also inspects and receives cannabis and ancillary products from vendors and ensures all manifests and quantities are accurate. The Inventory Coordinator supports dispensary staff in entering purchase orders into the inventory tracking systems; and ensures all product is processed within 24 hours of receipt and ready for sale. The Inventory Coordinator also accurately enters tests results and proper classifications into systems within 24 hours of product receipt and ensures products are names in accordance with product naming conventions and entry SOPs. This role will also work with Marketing to ensure on-line and in-store menus are up to date and accurate.
Exceptional inventory coordinators are knowledgeable on new and existing products; and cross-train management and team members on products to support sales. This role also works closely with store managers to ensure proper merchandising and placement of items.
